BLS Instructor $239

This face-to-face course prepares instructors to teach Basic Life Support Provider classes as well as Heartsaver classes. Course fee includes an instructor notebook which contains both the BLS Instructor Manual and the Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Manual. Curriculum from the AHA Instructor Essentials Online courses for both BLS Instructor and Heartsaver Instructor is included. Course fee also covers the BLS Instructor card fee upon completion of all certification requirements.

Both instructor manuals provide lesson maps and information for teaching the classroom-based and blended-learning options for initial certification or renewal. Both manuals include full-color pages with lesson plans for the classroom-based course and the blended-learning course, plus 6 page-divider tabs. Additional tools such as pre-course material, course materials, course resources, and testing resources for both BLS Provider and Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED are also included.

NEW INSTRUCTOR PROCESS:

Instructor candidates should hold a current BLS Provider card.

The Monitoring Form must be completed by one of our Training Center Faculty as they watch the new instructor candidate teach a class. A list of our faculty will be provided to you upon completion of the BLS Instructor course.

New instructors who have attended our BLS Instructor class submit all THREE documents together to aha@laniertech.edu as shown below:

Cancellation Policy: To cancel a course, please e-mail ce@laniertech.edu. All cancellations must be in writing via email. NO EXCEPTIONS. You may cancel or reschedule up to three business days prior to the course start date. All cancellations, transfers, and student substitutions will be charged a $20 processing fee. All cancellations received less than three business days in advance will NOT be refunded.
Low Enrollment Policy:If low enrollment requires that classes be rescheduled, you will contacted and will receive a full refund or will be rescheduled at no additional charge.
